Patrick T. Collins is an experienced commercial litigator who also specializes in family law. In addition to his substantial trial experience, he has handled dozens of appeals to the Superior Court, Appellate Division. In 1999, he was certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, and in 2001 as a Civil Trial Attorney, making him one of only two attorneys statewide to hold both of these certifications. His recent successes include the recovery of a jury verdict of over $3.5 million in the case of Independent Dental Review of America v. Horizon Healthcare Dental Services and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey.
Mr. Collins earned his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1981. In 1984, he graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law. He has served as a chair to the District V-B Fee Arbitration Committee, and is the president of a New Jersey based not for profit corporation. He is a member of the Essex County and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
