Prior to joining Franzblau Dratch, Mr. Franzblau served as the General Counsel & Secretary to both public and private corporations in a wide variety of industries ranging from engineering, construction, electrical, telecommunications and financial services to clinical research and behavioral health.  In those roles, Mr. Franzblau provided comprehensive legal and business advice on issues relating to acquisitions, divestitures, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, litigation and risk management, taxation, securities, real estate, intellectual property and employment law. 

Mr. Franzblau has successfully represented his clients in wide-ranging “bet-the-company” legal matters, including defense of antitrust, securities’ fraud, class-action employment discrimination claims and construction disputes as well as the prosecution of general commercial claims.  Prior to his General Counsel positions, Mr. Franzblau served as a judicial law clerk to Justice Alan B. Handler of the New Jersey Supreme Court and subsequently as a corporate real estate attorney with the law firm of Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP. 

 Mr. Franzblau also has held other executive roles while General Counsel, including Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Director of Human Resources and Risk Management.

 Mr. Franzblau holds a JD/MBA from the University of Denver and a BA from Tufts University.
